About North Ember Farm

North Ember Farm is a small-acreage stewardship project in North Carolina’s Piedmont region, shaped by long-term land care, systems thinking, and a deep respect for place.

North Ember Farm began as a deliberate return to the land — not as a finished farm, but as a long-horizon effort.

Located in the Piedmont of North Carolina, the property sits within a mixed woodland landscape where early efforts are focused on observation, ecological assessment, and careful systems planning.

While the mountains of western North Carolina have long influenced the project’s aesthetic and storytelling voice, the work itself is rooted here — in the slower, quieter process of building resilience from the ground up.

The goal is not rapid expansion, but durable infrastructure, thoughtful land use, and a production model that can mature over time.

The work is ongoing — and intentionally paced.
